Knife by Artisan Knife Maker Atelier Legoff
When he was younger, he was undecided about his career choice. He began studying business by default, with no clear direction.
However, his attraction to manual work continued to grow, and everything changed when he watched a television report about a blacksmith making pieces for cinema.
This moment was decisive, sparking a passionate interest in this trade. He confirmed his choice during a discovery placement alongside the famous knifemaker Mathieu Callejon, where he made his first blade.
Originally from the mountains of Aveyron, he began his apprenticeship in the Jura, acquiring the fundamentals of forging while studying for a CAP in Artistic Metalwork at the Ferdinand Fillod secondary school, renowned for its expertise in metalworking.
His training continued at Laguiole, alternating between the company Benoît l’Artisan and the Thiers school to perfect his skills in cutlery.
His journey then took him to Thiers, where he joined theAtelier Perceval. For a decade, he worked his way up within this renowned company, moving from worker to project manager, thereby marking significant progress in his career.
