La Bonne Trempe

Discover Atelier La Bonne Trempe, a space dedicated to artisanal knife making in the heart of La-Monnerie-Le-Montel. My work takes place in a historic building dating from 1750: Le rouet de Boulary. This place, once dedicated to sharpening, has retained its old machines, which I restored and incorporated into my daily production.

You are invited to explore the world of the knife maker, a profession that is both modern and rich in traditional expertise, within this authentic setting steeped in history and tradition.

To reach Atelier La Bonne Trempe, please note that our entrance is below Place de Boulary. To access it, once you have passed the traffic lights and the railway line, turn immediately left before the bridge (Rue des Forges), then take the hairpin road on the right to pass beneath the bridge. You will find our workshop there!
