What dream could it possibly be? That of bringing knives to life, amid breathtaking nature, an inexhaustible source of daily wonder and inspiration.

How do I go about it? Most of the time, I begin by shaping the outlines through cutting and material removal, before carrying out heat treatment in the hardening oven. Then come the handle design and assembly stages, sometimes enhanced by the handle scales that my wife carefully stabilises at home.

I take immense pleasure in forging my own Damascus billets, a demanding discipline that combines creativity and perseverance.

Why devote myself to knifemaking? Because it is a spiritual quest, a way of passing on a part of one’s soul to every creation... And also because it brings joy to enthusiasts, offering others the opportunity to give a timeless and distinctive gift! Creating a knife can range between brutality and sensuality, but above all, it soothes me and captures my thoughts. It has become more than a passion, almost vital, an essential need to regain an inner calm that is indispensable to my balance.
