Courty & Fils joins our venture
On 23 September 2026, we acquired the Courty & Fils knife shop. This stage marks the expansion of our activity in Paris, with a second address at the 44 rue des Petits Champs, in the 2nd arrondissement.
From the Marais to Petits Champs, our two shops share the same aim: to introduce you to knife-making, advise you and support you in choosing your knives. Each retains its own identity and address, with a shared passion for blades and the work of knifemakers.

Choosing, caring for and personalising your knife
A knife is chosen for its blade, but also for its balance, how it feels in the hand and its intended use. We take the time to introduce you to the differences between models, whether it is a Kitchen knives, of a Folding knives or an artisanal creation.
Our support continues with care advice, the sharpening service and the Personalised engraving. A first name, initials or a memory: your knife can also become a personal gift.
From kitchen knives to collectors' pieces
Japanese tradition in the kitchen
Japanese knife-making holds a special place in our Paris shop. Behind every blade shape lies a gesture: slicing vegetables, preparing fish, cutting meat or carrying out more precise work. Discovering these differences helps you choose a knife that you will enjoy using every day.
Our selection of Japanese kitchen knives is aimed at both amateur cooks and enthusiasts. Beyond appearance, we invite you to consider the blade geometry, the comfort of the handle and the balance of the whole. The right choice depends on the way you cook and the care you wish to give your knife.
Folding knives and French craftsmanship
Pocket knives and the folding knives also have their place at Monde du Couteau. The lines of a Laguiole Village, the simplicity of an Opinel or the character of a handcrafted piece reveal different facets of knife-making. The materials, finishes and mechanisms give each model its personality.
The Table Knives extend this discovery: a fine blade complements the meal through both its cutting comfort and its aesthetics. Our team helps you compare models and choose according to use, feel in the hand and your preferences.
Meet Nicolas and Enzo in the Marais
A visit to the shop is an opportunity to talk with Nicolas and Enzo, two knife enthusiasts. A question about a steel, uncertainty between several handles or the wish to discover a craftsperson: advice is part of the experience. We take the time to understand your request before guiding you.
Located on rue du Pas de la Mule, our Marais shop is a meeting place for knife enthusiasts and the curious. You can come with a specific idea, look for a gift or simply discover the different blade families and the tasks they are suited to.
Making the pleasure of cutting last
