Jésus Granda

Welcome to the world of exceptional craftsmanship of Jésus Granda, bladesmith and master of the Atelier des Vieilles Lames, located in Saint-André-de-Seignanx, in the southern Landes. Originally from Cantabria, in northern Spain, my name reveals my Hispanic roots.

Drawing on my military background and childhood memories spent in my grandfather's metalworker's workshop, my passion for knives became deeply rooted in me. This is how the profession of bladesmith naturally became the obvious path for me.

I specialise in the handcrafted manufacture of knives, drawing inspiration from my cultural origins. My expertise developed through self-teaching, having begun working in this art in 1998. Over the years, my skills have become established and my work has become a benchmark in the field.

In my workshop, I bring folding knives, hunting knives and bespoke cutting tools to life, drawing on my manual dexterity and cultural heritage to create unique and authentic pieces.
