Since childhood, Pierre Damien Drapier has been driven by the art of knife making. From his first experiences with an Opinel to designing his small adventurer, his passion has strengthened over the years.

His strong interest in master craftspeople in the trade led him to undertake his first trials and gain his first experience, thereby refining his knowledge of steels, woods, mechanisms and forging techniques. Gradually, he developed his own distinctive style.

Guided by his desire to improve, he trained with renowned knife makers, marking the launch of his first workshop, directly integrated into his shop in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. This harmonious union of direct sales and artisanal creation was a turning point in his career.

His desire for growth then led him to Nord-Pas-de-Calais, returning to the village of his childhood in Dury, where he decided to devote himself exclusively to the art of knives.

Today, he has had the good fortune to turn his passion into a profession, now making a living from his passion for knife making.
