Knife by Artisan La Coutellerie du Clocher

Since childhood, Pierre Damien Drapier has been driven by the art of cutlery. From his first steps with an Opinel to designing his little adventurer, his passion grew stronger over the years.

His strong interest in master artisan knives of the trade led him to undertake his first trials, to gain his first experience, thereby refining his knowledge of steels, woods, mechanisms and techniques of forge. Gradually, he developed his own distinctive style.

Guided by his desire to improve, he trained with renowned knifemakers, marking the launch of his first workshop, integrated directly into his shop in Saintes Maries de la Mer. This harmonious combination of direct sales and the creation of handcrafted knife was a turning point in his career.

His desire for growth then led him to Nord Pas de Calais, returning to the village of his childhood in Dury, where he decided to devote himself exclusively to the art of Regional knives.

Today, he has had the opportunity to turn his passion into a profession, now making a living from his passion for cutlery.
