Behind every knife lies a deep passion: that of Tanguy Coillot. Born in 1996 in Lorraine, a region steeped in history and tradition, he has a particular attachment to the art of cutlery.
A love of fine knives has always driven him, but it was in April 2019 that the idea of creating his own pieces took root in his mind. After three years exploring the world of knifemaking in his spare time, Tanguy made a bold decision.
On 1 April 2022, he left his civil service position to fully embrace his passion and become a full-time knifemaker.
His expertise is focused mainly on folding knives, but he finds just as much satisfaction in creating fixed-blade knives for a variety of uses. For Tanguy, a knife is first and foremost a tool, which is why he places particular importance on functionality as well as aesthetics.
