Florinox pocket knife

The history of our company dates back to 1930, when our founder, Roger MOREL, decided to take over a small cutlery workshop located in the picturesque town of Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle, near Thiers, the cradle of French knife-making. At that time, the company was mainly devoted to making pocket knives, following the traditional methods of the period.

In 1962, Roger MOREL decided to take over the company where he worked, marking the beginning of a new era for our company. He continued to uphold traditional craftsmanship while introducing new knife models, thereby expanding our product range.

The years 1969 and 1972 were significant for our company, with the arrival of Daniel and Michel, Roger's sons, who joined the family business. Together, they brought new momentum to FLORINOX. In 1990, the company moved to a new industrial area in Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle, marking a further stage in our development. It was then that the company was renamed FLORINOX, a name that embodies our commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of cutlery.

Over the decades, FLORINOX continued to evolve, diversifying its product range and responding to the specific requirements of its customers. By collaborating with designers and specialist companies, we have been able to create unique knives suited to the needs of our most demanding customers.

More recently, David, Daniel's son, took over from his father, continuing the family tradition and perpetuating the expertise acquired over the years. Under his leadership, FLORINOX continues to be a symbol of excellence in the field of cutlery, offering quality products that combine tradition and innovation.
