This acquisition was made by Christian Valat, owner of the prestigious Coutellerie Laguiole Traditions in Espalion.
This workshop perpetuates the ancestral tradition of knife making, formerly the village's main activity between the XIIIth and XVIIIth centuries. Today, a visit to the shop offers an unobstructed view of the workshop, where knifemakers create unique models and special series before your eyes, working with a range of materials from mammoth to the latest high-tech composites.
